REGISTRATION FAQs
Thank
you for your interest in registering to attend 8th KASHISH Mumbai
International Queer Film Festival, that will take place from May 24 - 28,
2017 at Liberty Cinema Alliance Française de Bombay. The theme for this year is
'Diverse, One'.
The
festival will screen LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) films
from around the world. It is the only LGBTQ film festival to be held in a
mainstream theater and the first LGBTQ film festival to obtain clearance from
the Information & Broadcasting Ministry.
Below
you will find details that will answer most of your queries regarding
registration.

· Festival Dates and Venues: : KASHISH MIQFF 2017 will be
held May 24-28, 2017 at Liberty Cinema (next to Bombay Hospital, New Marine
Lines) and May 25-28, 2017 at Alliance Française de Bombay (New Marine
Lines)
· Timings:
Liberty Cinema:
May 24th - Begins 6.00 pm - Ends 11.30 pm
May 25, 26, 27, 28th - Begins 9.30 am - Ends 11.30
pm
Alliance Française de Bombay:
May 25, 26th - Begins 2.00 pm - Ends 8.15 pm
May 27th - Begins 10.00 am - Ends 8.15 pm
May 28th - Begins 10.00 am - Ends 6.45 pm
· Entry to festival venues: Festival Entry is for pre-registered Delegates
ONLY who have filled out the Delegate Registration Form and obtained a Delegate
Card. Entry at both the venues will be allowed only with a valid Delegate Card.
· Minimum age: Delegates must be ABOVE 18 YEARS OF AGE on 1st May
2017 to attend the festival screenings. Please carry a photo ID and age proof
for verification.
· Charges: A nominal registration fee has to be paid towards the Delegate
Card and Festival Catalog. There are different options, please read through
carefully:
a) Full-Festival Delegate Card valid at both the venues for all days, for
all film screenings and panel discussions, including opening and closing night
(except opening night party)
Rs. 600 - for general delegates that allows you to watch screenings at both the venues. (Earlybird discount of Rs.100 automatically applied till April 30th)

b) Full-Festival Discounted Card for special
category valid at both the venues
for all days, for all film screenings and panel discussions, including opening
and closing night (except opening night party)
Rs 450 - for students, senior citizens (60 years and above), Trans*, and for Alliance Française members who want to attend screenings at both venues. Proof would be required.

c) Weekend Delegate Card valid at both the venues for the weekend only –
Saturday and Sunday, including closing night
Rs.400 - The Weekend Delegate Card will be valid ONLY for May 27th Saturday and May 28th Sunday at Liberty Cinema and Alliance Francaise de Bombay.

· Collect your Delegate Card: Your delegate cards can be collected ONLY at
Liberty Cinema during these dates and timings:
May 20-24th Liberty Cinema –
2.00pm to 8.00pm
May 25-27th Liberty Cinema –
9.00am to 8.00pm
May 28th Liberty Cinema – 9.00am
to 2.00pm
· First Come First Serve: Delegate Card does NOT guarantee seating which
is strictly on a First Come, First Served basis. However we are confident that
all our delegates will get seat as we have a big theatre with 1,000+ seats.
